Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bible Reels.

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, including your use of comments and Community features.

Comments and the Community leaderboard are not private. If you are 13–17, content and information you share through those features may be visible to other people as described below.

2. Nature of the Service

Bible Reels provides Bible videos, quizzes, learning tools, comments, and Community features for personal spiritual growth and education. It does not provide medical, mental-health, emergency, legal, financial, or professional pastoral services. Do not rely on the Service in an emergency or crisis; contact appropriate emergency services or a qualified professional.

3. Acceptable Use

The Service is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, record, download, redistribute, publicly rebroadcast, or commercially exploit reels, quizzes, or other protected Content except where we expressly permit it.

You may not misuse the Service, gain unauthorized access, bypass security or subscription controls, reverse engineer it except where legally permitted, send spam or malware, scrape it without permission, impersonate someone, or violate applicable law or another person’s rights.

You may not post or submit content involving harassment, threats, hate, sexual exploitation, unlawful activity, spam, deceptive impersonation, or other abuse. Do not post another person’s private information without permission.

4. Accounts

Certain features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it reasonably current, safeguard your credentials, and notify us at contact@vivadios.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

Account information may include your email address, birthday, username, profile photo, bio, gender if provided, and onboarding responses. If you do not set a username, the Service may use the part of your email address before “@” as your display name. That name can appear in Community and alongside comments. Choose a username before participating if you do not want that email fragment displayed.

You may request account deletion through the “My” section or by contacting us. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel separately through Apple App Store, Google Play, or the applicable web billing flow.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Bible Reels and its software, reels, videos, audio, quizzes, graphics, text, branding, and other materials (“Content”) are owned by or licensed to Viva Dios Labs, subject to applicable third-party rights. Scripture text, including material from the World English Bible where used, remains subject to its applicable terms.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and stream Content through the Service for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or commercially use Content unless the Service expressly permits it or we give you written permission.

Your community content

You may post comments of up to 500 characters on reels, reply to comments, and mark comments with a pray mark. Posting requires a signed-in account. People who load a reel’s comments can see its comments and replies, along with the associated display name and profile photo, including people who are not signed in. These interactions are not private.

Other signed-in members can see a Community leaderboard showing members’ display names, profile photos, first-try quiz scores, and reels-watched counts. You are responsible for deciding what identifying information to put in a comment, display name, or photo.

You retain any rights you have in comments and other content you submit. By submitting a comment, reply, display name, or profile photo, you grant Viva Dios Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, process, moderate, display, and distribute that material within the Service as needed to operate comments, profiles, Community features, safety systems, and related functionality. This license lasts while the material remains on the Service, subject to the deletion and retention practices in our Privacy Policy.

Do not submit content unless you have the rights needed to submit it and grant this license. You are responsible for your submissions and for ensuring that they comply with these Terms.

Moderation and enforcement

We may use automated tools, keyword filters, third-party moderation services, and human review to identify potentially harmful comments. Checks may be unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate; a comment appearing on the Service does not mean we approve or endorse it.

We may reject or remove a comment or reply, hide a member, limit features, or suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe its activity involves harassment, hate, sexual content, spam, impersonation, unlawful conduct, or other abuse. We do not have to disclose the particular rule, signal, or moderation method involved in a decision, except where applicable law requires it.

We are not obligated to host, retain, publish, or continue displaying any comment or other user submission. We may remove content in response to reports, legal requests, safety concerns, or operational needs.

You can block another member or report them for impersonation, a misleading account, inappropriate comments, harassment, spam, or another concern using available controls. Blocking hides that person from your Community and comments views as implemented by the Service; it does not guarantee that they cannot see content through another account or view. Submitting a report does not guarantee that we will take a particular action or respond within a particular timeframe.

Account deletion and community content

Deleting an account removes your leaderboard entry and block relationships tied to that account. It does not remove your comments, replies, or pray marks from display, and it does not retract content already seen, copied, or captured by another person. The display name and profile photo stored on a comment can remain visible. Contact us with enough information to identify a comment if you want us to review a removal request. We may retain limited records for safety, legal, or compliance purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. AI and Future Features

The currently available Service does not offer an AI chat or AI companion feature. We may provide additional terms and notices if we introduce one.

We do use an automated moderation service to assess submitted comment text for potentially harmful material. Automated moderation is not an AI chat feature and does not guarantee that every inappropriate submission will be detected.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

Bible Reels offers paid subscriptions. Unless a different offer is clearly displayed at checkout:

The yearly price may be displayed as approximately $3.33 per month for comparison, but it is billed as one annual charge. Prices may be subject to applicable taxes.

The 3-day trial is available only with an eligible yearly-plan offer, not the monthly plan. Unless you cancel before the deadline shown in the applicable checkout or billing platform, the yearly trial converts to a paid yearly subscription at the price shown at checkout. For Apple subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends if you do not want it to renew into a paid subscription. The applicable Apple, Google Play, or web checkout flow controls the exact offer and cancellation instructions.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each paid billing period until cancelled. Monthly subscriptions are charged at purchase and on subsequent monthly renewals. Yearly subscriptions are charged after any eligible trial and on subsequent annual renewals.

For yearly subscriptions for which we have the necessary billing and contact information, we send a reminder approximately 15 days before the next annual renewal. We do not promise a comparable reminder for monthly renewals. A reminder does not replace the cancellation process or change the renewal date displayed by your billing provider.

You can cancel through the platform used to purchase: Apple subscription settings, Google Play subscription settings, or the applicable web billing flow. Cancelling prevents future renewals but generally does not refund the current paid period. Deleting a Bible Reels account does not cancel a subscription.

Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe processes payments as applicable. Refunds are subject to applicable law and the payment provider’s policies. We may share relevant subscription-delivery and consumption information with Apple or Google when they evaluate a refund request.

We may change prices or plans in the future with notice where required. Review the price, billing frequency, trial conversion, automatic-renewal terms, and cancellation method presented at checkout before subscribing.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain information, including comments, leaderboard information, reports, blocks, and information sent to service providers.

9. App Store and Platform Terms

If you access or purchase Bible Reels through Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable platform’s terms and billing policies also apply. Viva Dios Labs is responsible for the Service and its Content, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created a safety or security risk, engaged in abuse, or used the Service unlawfully. We may also change or discontinue features or the Service.

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. Deletion may result in loss of access to your profile, learning progress, and paid features. It does not cancel a subscription or automatically entitle you to a refund.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may change features or update these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice for material changes. If you do not agree with revised Terms, stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription through its billing platform.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free Content, or that community comments and automated moderation will be accurate, complete, appropriate, or free of harmful material. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers, so these provisions apply only to the extent allowed by law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Viva Dios Labs and its directors, employees, partners, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the Service.

Our total liability for claims related to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid for Bible Reels subscriptions during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to non-waivable rights under applicable law, disputes concerning these Terms or the Service will be brought in state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Copyright and DMCA

If you believe content on Bible Reels infringes your copyright, email contact@vivadios.dev with identification of the work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, your contact information, and the statements and signature required for a copyright notice. We may remove or disable access to material where appropriate under applicable law.

16. Miscellaneous

If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a corporate transaction. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
