Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 29, 2026

Bible Reels is operated by Viva Dios Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Viva Dios Labs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Bible Reels website and apps (collectively, the “Service”) available at biblereels.app.

By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to operate Bible Reels, provide subscriptions and trials, and understand how the Service is used.

Account and Onboarding Information

  • Email address used to create and manage your account.
  • Password you choose (stored using industry-standard security practices).
  • Onboarding responses such as:
    • “Why do you want to study the Bible?”
    • Your daily learning goal (for example, how many reels you want to watch per day).

Some onboarding responses may reflect your spiritual or religious interests or practices; we treat this as sensitive information and handle it with extra care as described below.

Subscription and Transaction Data

  • Subscription plan (monthly or yearly), status (active, trial, cancelled), and renewal dates.
  • Purchase history and refund-related information.
  • Basic consumption information related to purchased content (for example, whether you accessed paid reels or completed quizzes) used to understand subscription usage and handle support or refund requests.

We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves; payments are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe.

Usage and Learning Activity

  • Reels watched, watch time, and completion status.
  • Quiz interactions and performance on quizzes that appear while using the Service (for example, after you watch a certain number of reels).
  • Favorited reels, streaks, achievements, and liked content.
  • Time and date of your activity in the Service.

We currently do not use quiz results or streaks to personalize content; they are used to power features and measure engagement.

Device and Log Data

  • IP address, approximate location inferred from IP (such as country or region).
  • Device type, operating system, app version, and browser type (for web).
  • Basic platform logs and crash information from your device and our systems.

Cookies and Analytics

On web and in the apps, we use analytics tools (including Google Analytics and Amplitude) that may collect:

  • Page views, navigation paths, and event data (for example, reel played, quiz completed, subscription started).
  • Device identifiers and IP address.
  • Referring URL or campaign information (for example, which ad or link led you to Bible Reels).

We use cookies and similar technologies mainly for session management, analytics, and measuring the effectiveness of our own marketing.

We do not collect comments, journals, notes, chat messages, profile bios, or other long-form user-generated content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

Operate and Improve the Service

  • Create and manage your Bible Reels account.
  • Provide access to more than a thousand Bible reels and quizzes.
  • Administer the 3-day free trial and ongoing subscriptions (monthly or yearly).
  • Monitor Service performance, analyze usage patterns, and fix bugs or errors.

We do not currently use your quiz results or onboarding answers to algorithmically personalize which reels you see; they support core features like progress tracking and motivation.

Communications

  • Send you essential account and subscription messages, such as trial reminders, renewal notices, or changes to your account.
  • Send occasional product update emails about new features or content (you may opt out of non-essential emails at any time).
  • Display in-app notifications and push notifications related to your account, learning goals, and product updates.

Compliance, Safety, and Integrity

  • Maintain records needed for accounting, tax, and other legal obligations.
  • Detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Respond to lawful requests from courts or regulators where required.

Marketing and Attribution (For Our Own Campaigns Only)

  • Measure which marketing channels (such as Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads) lead to installs, subscriptions, or visits.
  • Improve our own campaigns and user acquisition strategies.

We use certain analytics and attribution data for Bible Reels marketing only, and do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own independent advertising.

3. Legal Bases and U.S. Privacy Laws

For U.S. users, we rely on recognized legal bases under applicable laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):

  • Contract performance: Operating your account, providing reels and quizzes, and administering subscriptions.
  • Legitimate interests: Improving the Service, monitoring performance, securing systems, and measuring marketing effectiveness.
  • Consent: Sending certain marketing emails and using cookies or analytics where opt-in is required.
  • Legal compliance: Meeting regulatory, tax, and recordkeeping requirements, and responding to lawful requests.

To exercise these rights, you can:

  • Email us at contact@vivadios.dev with your request.
  • Use in-app support options available in the “My” page of the Service.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request and may deny requests where the law allows (for example, when we must keep data for tax or security reasons). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Security Measures

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS).
  • Secure authentication and access controls for our systems.
  • Separation of production systems and limited access for authorized personnel.
  • Monitoring and logging for unusual activity.

No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You can help protect your account by using a strong password, keeping it confidential, and logging out when you finish using the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements.

When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice (for example, in-app or by email).
